Tripp Shealy, Ph.D.
I am an assistant professor in the Charles E. Via, Jr. Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Virginia Tech. Previously, I worked as a consultant for the construction industry reviewing building codes, assisting engineering firms with sustainability assessments, and as a Project Engineer building water treatment facilities.
I received my doctorate from Clemson University.
When I am not teaching, advising students, or conducting research I am typically riding bikes with my two-year-old son or mountain biking in the national forest adjacent to campus.
